Firefighter Banner
I made this one as a thank you to our local fire department, SMFPD. Sometimes you just want to do something for the people who show up when it matters, and a handmade banner felt like the right call.
Big white script spells out "Thank You" across the top, with the SMFPD maltese cross front and center in red and blue. There's a cartoon fire truck on the right side with its ladder reaching up, which gives the whole thing a fun, friendly feel. The background is kraft paper framed by a white scalloped border, and the outer edge is covered in red and yellow sunburst stripes that really make it pop.
This one was hand-painted start to finish. I could see it hanging at the station or at a community appreciation event. It turned out bold and bright, which felt right for the folks it was made for.
