Book Fair Banner

The school PTO needed a big welcome banner for its book fair, and they picked a classic rhyming storybook theme. That was an easy yes for me.

A tall striped hat, a curious cat, a fishbowl, and a fuzzy pink flower fill the kraft-paper background. Bright wavy bands wrap around the top and sides, while chunky black lettering makes "Book Fair" easy to spot from across the room.

I hand-painted the characters and lettering, then added loose black outlines for that storybook-page look. It would be a cheerful welcome at a school entrance or family reading night. I'd love to paint something just as playful for your next school event.
