The Sandpoint Arts & Crafts Fair is one of the most respected juried shows in the region, and it happens during Festival at Sandpoint, the town's biggest event of the year. The combination of the arts fair, live music at the Festival, and Sandpoint's lakeside setting makes this weekend truly special.

A juried show

Being juried means artists go through an application and selection process, so the work you'll find here is high quality and all handmade: paintings, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork, textiles, and more. Every booth represents an artist who earned their spot.

Two days of art

  • Saturday, August 8: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday, August 9: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The fair fills 2nd Avenue and Main Street in downtown Sandpoint with vendor tents and displays. It's compact enough to browse thoroughly but large enough to offer real variety.

Festival at Sandpoint connection

The arts fair coincides with Festival at Sandpoint, the annual concert series at War Memorial Field. If you're in town for the music, the craft fair is a perfect daytime activity. And if you're here for the art, the evening concerts are a great bonus.

About Sandpoint

Sandpoint is a gorgeous little town on Lake Pend Oreille, and strolling through downtown during the fair with the lake in the background is hard to beat. There's a lot of art and culture packed into this small town.
